The engagement brought together key stakeholders who raised critical concerns and called for thoughtful amendments to the Bill. Among the key issues highlighted were the need to reduce excessive ministerial powers, ensure alignment with existing legal frameworks, and safeguard constitutional rights.KWID’s Executive Director @TumuheirweFlo1 further highlighted the potential adverse effects the Bill could have on women and girls in its current form.
