Our mission is to accelerate cures for #kidneycancer. We educate patients about clinical trials, advocate for research funding, and bring researchers together.
"Without KidneyCAN, without advocates going to the hill, sitting in front of politicians and telling their stories -- there would not have been any funding for kidney cancer."
- Dr. @HHammersMD, UTSW

Encouraging news from Capitol Hill: the FY27 House Defense Appropriations bill includes $15M for the Kidney Cancer Research Program.
But $15M is not enough. Not when we lose 40 lives per day to this disease.
KCRP was funded at $50M in FY24 before being eliminated in FY25. KidneyCAN is on the ground in DC and will keep pushing for full restoration.
Lives are on the line. Research can’t wait.
