Dear reader,
I’ve put many hours in gathering, verifying and posting information on what’s happening to the children from Ukraine. The last couple of months I had to think hard on where to go from here. It appeared immensely difficult to draw attention to this issue and I noticed a general lack of interest. Efforts to team-up didn’t work out as well and it’s too much work to do by myself.
I have therefore decided to quit my efforts on X, since it has become increasingly difficult to beat the algorithm and I simply don’t have the time anymore.
However, I have made a list with accounts that provide information on the kids regularly and will update this list the coming weeks. You can find it here:

I’ve decided to redirect my efforts to help Ukrainian refugees in my own community.
To everyone who has supported this account and the children : thank you soooo much! 🙏 You are the best! *firm hugs*
Please don’t forget about the kids.
Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Sooo, I quit this account. Because of current events I feel the need to reconsider but I need to team-up. Do you want to join me? I'll pay for 'the mark' and such, just need a team that will invest time and effort. Info only. Verified. DM me: @AnneFella
#Gennady_Mokhnenko is a military chaplain from #Mariupol. He opened the largest shelter and rehabilitation centre for orphans and homeless people in #Ukraine - #Pilgrim_Republic. He also adopted as many as 36 underprivileged children into his own family.
The stories of the children deported by Russia and returned to Ukraine by the Save Ukraine team became the basis for the documentary “Ukraine's Stolen Children”, which was broadcast on @officalITV and is available on @ITVX .
The film is based on the documented testimonies of Ukrainian teenagers who ended up in the occupied territories and were separated from their families due to Russia's military aggression. Filmmaker @shahidayakub tells the story of the horrors that thousands of #Ukrainian #children were forced to endure when they were taken to their territory by the Russians in 2022.
Shahida Tulaganova managed to get behind the scenes of @SaveukraineUs rescue missions and show what parents and legal representatives have to do to return their abducted children to #Ukraine .
We are proud that we were able to return to Ukraine and reunite these children with their families, and that we are able to record Russia's crimes against the Ukrainian people so that all those responsible can be brought to justice.

The Netherlands will help create a DNA database of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia
This will help to quickly identify children abducted by the Russian Federation and subsequently reunite them with their families, said Dutch Foreign Minister Ganke Bruins Slot.
The DNA Database Project also helps collect evidence of abductions to support prosecutions for Russian war crimes in Ukraine, including at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

This fall, @UNICEF_UA with the @eu_echo support, is repairing shelters in 80 schools and kindergartens, making a more secure environment for ~ 50,000 girls & boys.

Russia teaches Ukrainian kids in occupied territories to be afraid of rainbows and bananas.
Children’s book "How not to be affected by gay propaganda". It’s approved by the fake governor of the occupied part of Kherson region.
Welcome back home, 9 children are returned from the temporarily occupied territories and Russia, thanks to the great cooperation between Ombudsman Ukraine and @orphans_feeding Foundation 🇺🇦
@lubinetzs, Commissioner for Human Rights of the @ua_parliament, said that “the stories of these children are impressive, because the fates of the children are different, but each of them had to go through trials”.
I personally met all the children at the border… listening to them, to their experiences was heartbreaking. Two children were in the temporarily occupied territory for a long time and now, finally, they were returned to their parents. It was also possible to return to the Motherland a boy who was accused by the Russians of undermining a bridge, was kept in prison for a month and interrogated. He went through all the circles of hell, including filtration. But now he is with his mother, in Ukraine.
After the return, we visited the children at the Centre for the Protection of Children's Rights in Kyiv where they were provided with legal assistance and counselling.
The objective in setting up this Centre is to ensure the provision of a full range of social services, including full medical care, material support, temporary housing, and social and psychological rehabilitation for children and their families.
Your continuous support to our NGO helps us to do this important work and bring more children back from Russia.
Thank you so much 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Children in Ukraine are marking their first day back at school, as the country struggles to cope with the second year of full-scale war. As with other former Soviet republics, the start of the academic year on September 1 is widely celebrated, but Ukraine is grappling with the destruction of hundreds of schools and the displacement of thousands of children and their families.

The first families with children were forcibly evacuated from Zaporizhzhia Oblast by @SaveukraineUs in cooperation with the @NPU_GOV_UA, the SES and the #Vasylivka community. About 50 other children are still in 5 dangerous settlements in #Zaporizhzhia Oblast and need to be rescued.
In an interview with @CNN, he spoke about the difficult path that parents and official representatives have to overcome to bring home their children who were deported by #Russia. He talked about what these children have to go through in a foreign country, and why the Russian Federation is blocking the return of these children to their homeland.
The story also tells the stories of children who have already returned to #Ukraine. We are grateful to CNN for the opportunity to share these important stories with the world. Watch the full story at https://t.co/vR4NUlBCGp

Kharkiv started the academic year with classes located in metro stations. As students return to in-person teaching, city officials announced some classes would be held underground for safety reasons. By @CurrentTimeTv@radiosvoboda
Now all 11 children returned from Russian territory as a result of the Save Ukraine' 10th rescue mission are safe. Families face a long process of recovery to normal life. And our team will help them in this too🙏
The majority of #UkrainianChildren have been deprived of the opportunity to receive normal education for the second year in a row due to 🇷🇺 invasion. Only 1/3 of children of primary & secondary age are learning in-person.
