As part of a tour of the facilities with our Director @N1JPO, she visited the new Seaweed Academy and learned about our marine technology research.

Was up Dunollie today with @fire_scot and @WoodlandTrust who are raising fire safety awareness locally. People forgetting to put out fires and barbecues can quickly lead to out of control wildfires - it can be prevented if people follow guidance

In Campbeltown with colleagues from @abhscp and @argyllandbute for the opening of The Robert Black Memorial Helipad. This is a fantastic project led by the local community that will greatly speed up and ease the transfer of patients to and from hospital

Police in Oban attended a party last night with 15 people present. Fines issued of up to £240 sent a clear signal that this behaviour is unacceptable.

Worrying this wasn’t the first fines for some. Breaching rules multiple times recklessly endangers us all. Stay home, save lives

However in rural locations like Barcaldine perceived noise particularly at night can be higher due to low background levels (2/2)
