@NotM1kaelAngelo @tapinham @UrbanPoet @b_tenorio1_ @poptime It isn't just Ronaldo, but also Henry. Well known to nudge the ball or dink it a bit forward while his teammates crowd the ref. Same with Beckham, nudges it on his right foot to curl it while teammates stir the ref. Not unusual.

Against Atletico in 2016 Laliga at home, his teammates would crowd the referee and he'd walk over to the ball and moved it nearly a foot and a half forward before scoring the hat trick. So no, the guy was not lying that players do this.

Just cuz a team wins a league title all the time doesn't mean anything. It just tells me they're historically dominant in that league. Same way how I believe Manchester City ran the EPL for years.

Doesn't really matter if it's still a league title, is it? Still a professional competition, and it's still a League made to be won. Just cuz it doesn't share the same reputation as the EPL, doesn't mean it doesn't land in your trophy cabinet.

I didn't even mention Ronaldo once? In the same time frame, Messi won 2 league titles, poor start in his 2022 season, but performed well in 2023. The PSG attack was good, but the lack of depth costed PSG the UCL. I didn't say Ronaldo was poor unless it's the second season at UTD.

In his second season in Ligue 1, he produced 16 goals and 16 assist. In the UCL it was 4 gls and 4 assist in 7. He was the 3rd player with the most G/A, and highest rated player in Ligue 1. You have to be more logical with how you view poor. (I can't reply for some reason.)

@unitedfan1983 @Emzyl_ He wasn't. Poor start in his 2022 Season (11 gls and 14 ast) But stepped it up in 2023 with 21 goals and 20 assist in 41. Also, playing in multiple leagues doesn't mean tactically he was good for the team, especially if it doesn't bring silverware.

@sj_pep47683 @ErlingRoIe Not only is the SPL quality from anywhere outside the top teams are hitting negative G/D, while the teams in Messi's conference are ranging G/D from 1+ to 12+ while still being relatively close is competitive. The SPL is not competitive, in a sense, where all teams can compete.

From teams at 7th down to 20th have negative goal difference and points ranging 1 or 2 away from each other outside of top 4, while if we use the MLS 2025 season (Eastern conf), 11th to 15th have negative G.

@VinayakNRe87857 @ErlingRoIe It really isn't when we see how close the point difference from 5th down to 20th are ranging around 1 or 2 points. Outside of the top 4, the highest goal difference is 13, and the teams from 7th down to 20th have a negative goal difference. More bad than good.
