We were honored to welcome the State Minister for Education to the KPL Writing Competition Season 5 awarding ceremony.
"Education goes beyond the classroom. It is about learning how to think, imagine, communicate and solve problems. Writing helps students do all of that."
Emphasizing the value of youth voices, she added:
“You have shown the entire country that young people have powerful ideas and important stories to tell.”
Held under the theme “Money Matters,” the competition continues to nurture critical thinking, communication skills, financial awareness, and a culture of reading and writing among Rwanda’s learners.
“A library is where you go to find answers.”
Nancy Bright Ineza, one of this season’s finalists, shared how competitions reveal your potential, how small resources can create community impact, and how growth as a writer comes from refusing to stop.
