I wanted a study timer. So I built my own with AI. 🍅

Made with Codex:

⏱ Pomodoro timer
✅ Tasks + 7-day stats
🌗 Light/dark mode
🌐 English + Chinese
📱 Works on mobile

@soloopai Hi! Thanks for reaching out! 😊

I'm interested! Could we do a text-based interview via chat or email instead of a call?

Would the $30 still apply? How is payment handled, and are there any age requirements?

Thanks! 🚀

Part 2 🍅 How I built it with Codex:

I gave AI a clear plan:

🛠 React + TypeScript
⏱ Pomodoro timer
✅ Tasks + 7-day stats
🌐 English + Chinese
🌗 Dark mode
💾 Local storage
Then I tested it and deployed it on GitHub Pages.
Next: the actual prompts and build steps! 🚀

@OpenAIDevs Exactly! 🍅 Built it with Codex, and now it's time to put it to use! 🚀

@nSakib__ Fair point! 😄

The timer was just a small experiment. I wanted to see if I could turn an idea into a working app with AI.

The learning process was the real win. 🍅

If you’re interested, I can share the exact prompts and the step-by-step build process.

What feature would you add next? 🍅

I recovered nearly 200GB of storage on my Mac. 🤯

💻 Free space: 196GB → 394GB

Is your Mac running out of storage too?

I'll share what worked, what I learned, and what NOT to delete.
