When I am down and, oh, my soul, so weary
When troubles come and my heart burdened be
Then I am still and wait here in the silence
Until You come and sit awhile with me
You raise me up so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on Your shoulders
You raise me up to more than I can be.

The way @justinenamere is pipping in what @BalaamBarugahar documents, it's like don't say what is not written in the document. Our own honorable we wish you luck as you serve Ugandans. Tubegese amaaso
This afternoon, accompanied by the Hon. Minister of State for Local Government, Hon. @JustineNameere , we addressed the media at Media center on the upcoming Local Council (LC) Elections scheduled for 28th July.
I encouraged all Ugandans to turn out in large numbers and actively participate in this important democratic exercise. Local Councils are the foundation of our governance system and play a vital role in promoting service delivery, resolving community issues, and driving development at the village and community levels.
Every vote counts. Let us all play our part in strengthening grassroots democracy.
@IAMJUDITHHEARD Banange, oba when you become a Judge it means to drop the Christian values?! Empathy and humanity is not for Judges that's why a 73yr old woman is denied to get treatment.
And don’t forget to pray for your country. Don’t leave that to someone else, they are also leaving it to someone else and someone else might be too bitter or too preoccupied to remember that prayer changes things. Do not give up. Pray, wherever and whoever you are. It is not in vain. Please pray. This is not business as usual.
.@Mizzflav might just drop a little birthday surprise. After all, it’s all about NTV@20!
I mean, ours came early enough with smileys and some cash.

A Sunday Monitor farewell
As the Sunday Monitor bows out of print, it leaves behind more than ink on newsprint — it leaves a lesson: journalism’s future lies not in nostalgia, but in reinvention.

PHOTOS: Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, has pledged Shs50 million to support the purchase of trees for the Church of Uganda’s nationwide campaign to plant 15 million trees during Environment Month. Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu pledged to work with the government to achieve the target within two years. The initiative seeks to protect the environment and forms part of the Church’s activities leading up to its 150th anniversary next year, commemorating the introduction of Christianity to Uganda in 1877.
