Laying the groundwork for grapes: This week, the sisters and farmers have been busy excavating trenches along measured contours for grape propagation and doing direct contouring to locate swales. These swales will help harvest water from the road and store it in the soil.

47 farmer groups, shops, processing units, and our SAT Farm were successfully audited under the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) to receive Organic Agriculture Certificates together with the EAOPS label. It's expected to open up new market opportunities across East Africa.
