I’m a woman who has been married for just one year. Last night, I was forced to sleep outside, and today I moved back to my parents’ house while seven months pregnant. My only “offense” is getting pregnant for the man who married me.

I didn’t disrespect my husband or do anything to provoke him. But ever since I got pregnant, he has constantly complained that I’ve become ugly. He has never made me happy throughout this pregnancy he makes me cry almost every day with hurtful words.

I kept enduring it, hoping things would change after I gave birth. Deep down, I knew the marriage might not last because he often said he regretted marrying me and wouldn’t have done so if he knew I would “look like this.”

As my pregnancy progressed, the insults got worse. He would call me ugly, mock my nose, say my mouth smells, and compare me to other women. He even insulted me in public, which made me withdraw and avoid going out with him. I mostly stayed indoors unless I had to go to work.

Last month, he started asking me to go back to my parents’ house because, according to him, my face scared him. I refused because I contributed to the rent. Still, he kept repeating it daily and threatening to throw me out.

Yesterday morning, he told me to leave before he returned. I didn’t go. When he came back around 10pm, he insulted me for hours and eventually threw me out around 1am. I had to find somewhere else to sleep before going to my parents’ house this morning.

Nothing happened no fight, no wrongdoing. I simply got pregnant, and suddenly the man I’ve been with for four years says I’m too ugly to be his wife.

My heart is broken. I haven’t spoken to anyone since I got here because I don’t even know how to explain to my parents and younger siblings that my husband sent me away at seven months pregnant just because he thinks I’m ugly. 😭

My mother set a trap for my brother’s wife at the dinner table.

It did not go as planned.
She waited until she was comfortable. Fed. Relaxed.
Then she attacked.
“Ever since you people got married he doesn’t go to church like before.”

The table went silent. My brother suddenly became very interested in his food. The kind of interest that means please God do not let this involve me.(note that my brother was never the churchy type and my mom knew that)

His wife chewed. Swallowed. Wiped her mouth. Then replied playfully

Last semester, a girl in my department finally got nominated for an exco position in our fellowship.

She was excited.
She had been serving faithfully for years.

One evening, the president asked her to see him privately.

She thought it was about the role.

But instead, he looked at her and said,

Every time my sister’s baby woke at night, her husband got up, changed the diaper, and handed the baby to her to nurse.

It worked for them.

After my son was born, it became clear my husband was not built for middle-of-the-night duty. From 12–5:30 a.m., I was on my own.

But every morning he took the baby, let me sleep, and had hot coffee waiting when I woke up.

That worked for us.

The math of motherhood is actually insane when you break it down like this. 39408 minutes of carrying life while dealing with every physical toll imaginable is the ultimate sacrifice. Women really do build the universe while men just provide the spark. It is a reminder of why mothers deserve the highest level of respect and honor in our society.
Biology is definitely not a 50/50 split when it comes to pregnancy and childbirth. The strength required to endure those nine months of nausea and physical changes is unmatched. Respect to every mother out there doing the heavy lifting.

A man took his sick fiancée who was 3 months pregnant to see a doctor. She was admitted and managed for Malaria in pregnancy and threatened miscarriage.

The man went behind and pleaded with the doctor to help him terminate the pregnancy as he wasn't sure the pregnancy belonged to him, and that was why he agreed to marry her

The doctor gave the medication to a nurse to administer.

4 hours later, the woman had a miscarriage.

She suspected she was given an unknown medication before the miscarriage. She then confronted her fiance who confessed to what he did.

Now she's suing the doctor, the nurse and her fiancé for murder and attempted murder.

Inorder to save face, the hospital sacked the doctor. But the women is still insisting that sacking alone is not enough, that the doctor must lose his licence and she must be compensated financially.
