@themaceyway It depends on the type of plastic it is made of. Some plastics have very high oxygen permeability which isn't good for long term storage but could be ok for primary fermentation. What type of plastic is it?

@Terrydani1863 I have a lemon berry mead that is actually just starting to mellow out. Have to say I'm a little dissapointed. The lemon flavor over powers my other flavors a bit. Hope it will improve with age!
