Two years into this pandemic, the Minister of Health of this country of 23M is still holding daily press briefings talking about individual(!) cases. Each case has its own case number! Can you imagine?
Sometimes we forget how truly amazing #Taiwan’s pandemic response has been.
Last week, we welcomed @MEDRCorg Center Director @cocuinn and team for exchange on water scarcity in the Middle East and MEDRC’s work there. 🇩🇪 sees the huge #peacebuilding potential of the MEDRC model in other conflict areas in light of our engagement for #ClimatePeaceSecurity.
I've paused on commenting on children's drawings because, like everyone, I've been watching what's happening in America. Anything I say feels inadequate. All I know is that the world has to change. Power structures have to change. White people have to change. #BlackLivesMatter
Countries around the world must accelerate cooperation if we want to beat #COVID19. #Taiwan is willing to contribute our capabilities to better protect human health around the world. Today, I have 3 words for the international community: #TaiwanCanHelp.
Our future was stolen from us every time you said that ‘the sky was the limit’, and that ‘you only live once’.

ZIMBABWE REFLECT ON THIS
👇🏿
We did this!!
Nobody helped us.
Our recent history taught us that we are our own liberators.
Starting from the bottom we can rebuild Africa’s break-basket again.
Let’s do this thing!!
#Zimbabwe
I’m going to be live streaming ZTV right here on my Twitter handle. Zimbabweans in the diaspora tune to watch #MugabeAnnouncement. We wish you could be here with us and we don’t want you to miss out.
8am Zim time (expected).
Please RT to get the message out.
#Zimbabwe
I don’t hate Robert Mugabe. If he says he is sorry and walks away I am ready to forgive. We can’t be lynching a 93 year old. We are better than that. Draw the line in the sand and we build our beloved country #Zimbabwe
REFLECT ON THIS
👇🏿
Did you experience/witness violence/looting during the solidarity march across Zimbabwe yesterday. I didn’t.
There was zero police presence.
So next time people say Zimbabweans are criminals remind them of this. We are humble peace loving people
#Zimbabwe
To my knowledge, there was not a single incidence of violence today. Not a single shop looted. Not a single canister of teargas fired. Not a single stone thrown. With hundreds of thousands of people marching through the center of Harare.
The power of non-violent people power!!
What is truly remarkable about this astonishing demonstration across #Zimbabwe is how peaceful and joyous it has been . Decades of pent up emotions have been released in a glorious way.
