@Freedom250 Our Founding Fathers tried to protect us from this. They cared about the Country and wanted to make sure that rules and regulations were in place and just look what this party has done to OUR COUNTRY! All so 1 man would stay out of jail and use us as his own piggy bank.
Why you take us for fools, Mike?
A 57-year-old veteran in Kentucky who served this country just lost his food stamps because his disability pay disqualified him from the new work requirements.
A 62-year-old woman in Ohio just lost her Medicaid.
A grandparent raising their grandchildren just learned they have to prove 80 hours of work a month to keep food on the table, or lose everything.
Mike Johnson calls this "REAL RELIEF for hardworking Americans."
The same bill gave a $75,000 tax cut to every millionaire in America.
The same bill cut $700 billion from Medicaid.
The same bill cut 4 million people from food stamps, 72% of them working households.
The same bill adds $4.5 trillion to the national debt your kids will pay.
They didn't cut spending because the country needed it. They cut spending because they needed an excuse to cut taxes for their donors.
That's not relief. That's mugging the American people, and now you want a medal for it?
Here’s an in-depth New York Times article on how Trump, his family, and his cronies are abusing their government power to line their pockets and using billions of your tax dollars to facilitate their grifting. Note that the $8.9 billion in federal money going to the 14 Trump and Lutnick companies is equal to the entire amount of federal assistance Western North Carolina has received for Hurricane Helene recovery.
Rampant corruption in plain sight . . . and Republicans see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil.
Here’s an excerpt from the article and a free link to the entire piece:
“Ahead of the deal, the Trump administration approved preliminary applications for as much as $1.6 billion in federal financing for the American company, now called Kaz Resources, which plans to break ground on the project in rural Kazakhstan.
It was not only Mr. Trump and Mr. Lutnick who saw an opportunity.
Their sons were soon doing business with partners in a deal that their fathers were negotiating, continuing a pattern of self-enrichment in the second Trump administration that has few precedents in American history.”
. . . . .
“One or both families have financial ties to at least 14 companies that are actively working with the federal government on critical mining deals, including the Kazakhstan project, according to federal filings examined by The New York Times.
All 14 of these companies have either benefited directly from offers of financial assistance from the Trump administration, or have pending permit applications before the Commerce Department, which Mr. Lutnick oversees, The Times found. The total amount of federal funding that the Trump administration has provided or is considering providing to the companies exceeds $8.9 billion, according to public statements by the companies and federal government.”

The Trump administration has funneled $1.6 billion in taxpayer funds to a Kazakhstani mining company partly owned by Don Jr and Eric Trump.
Donald Trump made a personal call to Kazakhstan's president to secure mining approval for his sons' investment.
@conte0721@SenJohnKennedy Because he knows if the Save Act passes it doesn’t only disenfranchise dem voters but also republicans. Mike Johnson was caught on a hot Mike talked about the numbers. Fraud is not rampant look up the heritage foundation statistics which is why the loose all their court cases.
@newtgingrich If you think the Dems rigged the election then why is DJT in the White House? Nah, looks like the Republicans rigged it so the convicted felon wouldn’t have to go to jail and Leon would get all the government contracts. Now he’s afraid all the grifting will stop.
I LOVE WATCHING HISTORY: Byron Donalds is lying through his teeth. 80% of Americans agree we should show ID to vote—one singular ID. Not the SAVE Act.
The SAVE Act bans student IDs but accepts hunting licenses. It would erase millions of married women from the voter rolls because their names changed.
Criminals blaming others for crimes, go figure.
DHS is preparing to blast canyons & bulldoze roads through thousands of years of human history along the Rio Grande in Big Bend National Park—where virtually nobody is crossing.
In Arizona, just a month ago, they destroyed a 1,000-year-old sacred site and faced no consequences.
Gracie was born in a breeding facility that sells wild animals as pets — and possibly to be shot in canned hunts.
She escaped. If she's caught, she could be sold right back into that pipeline.
She chose to run. That choice deserves to mean something.
Demand Gracie goes to an accredited sanctuary — not back to a breeding facility. 🦒

Trump in March when asked who would pay to change the pathway from his home to office from Tennessee flagstone to polished African granite: “Paid for by me.”
Documents obtained by @michaelscherer: Paid for by National Park Service — and taxpayers.

The whooping crane is one of the world’s most endangered birds. Of the 800 or so left on earth, about two-thirds are wild and migrate every year between Texas and Canada.
So OF COURSE the Trump administration removed all protections and plans to eliminate about 12% of their critical migratory habitat in the wetlands of Texas.
So Trump, Doug Burgum, and their developer buddies can profit off the land.
When these birds are gone, they're gone forever.
Fuck this administration.

NEW: Trump said is March that he would pay for the new black granite in the West Colonnade. But that wasn't true. The National Park Service was billed $1.3 million for the project, as spending at other parks collapses, per internal budget docs I obtained. https://t.co/s9ty15JyFL
BREAKING: A federal judge has granted Katie Phang’s motion for a preliminary injunction in the Epstein files case, ordering the Trump administration to take additional steps toward transparency.
The ruling requires the administration to defend its redactions, produce additional records, and publish the disclosure log required by law while the case moves forward.
@CNimirra83899@RepThomasMassie That’s not how it works. The constitution only gives power to the president only after congress declares war. By the way - let’s see those #EpsteinTrump files.
Sen. Tillis on Bill Pulte’s mass firings: “My guess is, based on his past experience, it's just going to be another hot-steamy pile of DOGE shit.”
