@TheRedPill01@AlZeidenfeld Retail and food services tend to offer more flexible scheduling than the traditional Monday thru Friday schedule factory work tends to follow. Iβll admit, there are still some places such as Amazon warehouses that offer similar flexible scheduling like this.
@TheRedPill01@AlZeidenfeld My point is everyone views these manufacturing jobs that also require no skill as jobs where you should earn a modest yet liveable wage. Why shouldnβt it be the same for fast food or retail in general when theyβre both unskilled?
@TheRedPill01@AlZeidenfeld Thereβs plenty of factory work that requires no skill and not even a smile. Should they make even less than the fast food workers?
@cpscott16 The far-right definitely seems to be much better at using bots/AI to spread propaganda than any other political group. Makes you wonder who is financing the effort.
@EricSpracklen Boomers lucked out. They were first buying when houses were cheap because interest rates were high. Now theyβre selling when prices are high and interest is (or recently has been) low.
@allie__voss Iβd be curious to see the stats of each generation when they were the same age as Gen Z is now. It may just be something youβre more likely to do when youβre younger.
@LibertyJen I bought a starter home in 2014 for $84k and sold it in 2021 for $145k. The house sold again just over a year ago for $196k. Total consumer inflation from 2014-2025 was 36.1% but the house price rose by 233%.
