@mhudack 'people can move if they don't like it' - how does this not just lead to asset redistribution where rich people = nice houses and poorer people = shit houses. You've lived in a red area for your whole life inheriting your family house of 200 years? Too bad, fuck off.
@DanNeidle I get some people will claim this is as intended but to me it doesn't make sense. It's not right to price someone out of being able to live in their family home.
@DanNeidle Wouldn't this lead to a salary-focussed asset redistribution where only people on high wages can afford an expensive house? I inherited half of a c.750k house in a red area on a modest salary where I am able to pay off the other half through a mortgage. LVT = I have to sell up.
Whatever my feelings about Farage, you've never had to struggle through these media hunts in your life, Ed.
Because you stand for nothing. You achieve nothing. Just a daily routine of vacuous moral posturing, as you jeer at anyone who actually wants to have a serious conversation about the British people being sold out in our own country.
You've dedicated your career to villainising those that highlight the mounting danger in modern Britain, and ignoring all the pleas for you to get off the rides at Alton Towers and pay attention to the fact that our country is actually dying!
You mistake weakness for goodness and think we should all just shut up and politely accept these relentless moral atrocities like you. Whatever Farage's faults, he's at least spoken about the slew of issues you'd rather repress.
Yes, you will probably limp on with your well-established pockets of Lib Dem voter blocks for years to come. But when the histories of our times are written, no one will know what the point of you was.
