@ThePfef The problem with this logic (and I actually agree with you) is that since we don't have a single governing body side from the rules committee/WotC it risks splintering into a dozen different mini-formats. Think about all the different variations on USB.
I think Iβm done w @MTGSecretLair
I got every single one from the very first release, and now you have to be first in line right at 9am and hover over your phone for an hour just to be told half the products already sold out. Its ridiculous. Officially out of the game.
@MTGSecretLair This marks four consecutive drops where I was in queue instantly and was not able to buy the cards. I think I'm done. You won't even take my money when I'm trying so clearly it isn't wanted.
@MillThat I mostly wish UB wasn't a thing but I certainly don't hate on anyone that enjoys them. The real problem here is the Hasbro-ization of WotC and Magic.
They are making no effort to honor the spirit of the game. Just blatant cash grabs.
@ThePfef@CriticalEDH Take a well deserved break then. Don't let the randomness and noise drag you down. Going into matches frustrated and burned out is not going to improve it. You're one of the best in cEDH and you still will be after a break.
@pagliacci____@PWPMtG Check out the number of decks with 100+ entries in the last three months in events with 32 or more players. Sure, there are plenty of partner decks but that was the case pre ban.

@ThePfef@muchomango01 Are you arguing that edh or cEDH are currently suffering due to those bans? The data does not seem to support that given cEDH is more popular than ever and currently sports a very diverse meta.
@ThePfef@AttackOnCards So is it better to reward the bad actors? And ethical/moral arguments aside, cEDH is more popular than ever. Seems like the bans didn't hurt the format in the least.
