ALERT: White Settlement police officer saves mother and her 3 children from floodwaters as her car was stuck in a rushing drainage canal in North Texas.
White Settlement Police Department Sgt. John Banner and his colleagues came across a car stuck in a flooding drainage ditch.
With water rising and a strong current dragging the car, Banner used jumper cables as a rescue rope, saving the mother and 3 children.
Chief Christopher Cook has now ordered that every patrol unit be equipped with a water rescue throw bag to ensure the department has the right safety tools for events such as this.
BREAKING: The U.S. House just finally passed a DHS funding bill after a 75-day partial shutdown.
This bill does NOT include additional funding for ICE or CBP.
It's a BIG if, but if past performance is predictive of future returns, we should all be levering to the MAX and dumping it all in farmland.

This is what we call strip tilling. We literally only disturb the ground where the rows of crop will be planted. There is a trash whipper to move the previous crop residue and then the shank goes in the ground approximately 8 inches deep and places the fertilizer at whatever depth you prefer. The wavie discs are slightly angled to fill the void from the shank and a packer wheel to pack it all.
