We have recently received news of the Mayor and DFTA’s (NYC’s Department for the Aging) plan to SHUT DOWN the King Towers Senior Center located at 50 Lenox Ave!
I’m so happy to hear the King Towers senior center will be staying open in Harlem! I love these seniors with all my ❤️ special thanks to the Mayors office for making it happen. @nysenbenjamin and @adrianoespaillat so many more. @pix11news
NYC politicians need to deliver their unconditional support to the senior community. To threaten cuts for home bound food delivery to those unable to walk is sick. Support all senior center programs everywhere. One day we all will hopefully become seniors and we will need help.
NYC senior center facilities need financial support and home bound meals for the elderly are necessary for those who can't leave their residences. NYC elected officials must step up and do right by the elderly. Who even does crap like threaten vital programs? My gosh!
