BREAKING: Melania Trump gets brutally humiliated as Vanity Fair staffers threaten to quit over a plan to put the MAGA First Lady on the cover of the renowned magazine: "I will walk out the motherf*cking door."
This is an absolute nightmare for the image-obsessed Melania...
According to Semafor, Mark Guiducci, the magazine's newly minted editor, has been scheming for a way to make the publication more appealing to right-wing consumers.
In what amounts to a dramatic misunderstanding of the political climate right now, Guiducci has suggested putting Melania Trump on the cover. The ludicrous suggestion — coming as it does amidst Donald Trump's escalating fascism and worsening Jeffrey Epstein scandal — went over like a lead balloon with Vanity Fair's employees.
The Daily Mail spoke to a "mid-level editor" at the publication who predicted a mass exodus of workers if Melania is given the coveted cover.
"I will walk out the motherf*cking door, and half my staff will follow me,” they said. "We are not going to normalize this despot and his wife; we’re just not going to do it. We’re going to stand for what’s right.”
"If I have to work bagging groceries at Trader Joe's, I'll do it," they said. "If [Guiducci] puts Melania on the cover, half of the editorial staff will walk out, I guarantee it."
Not surprisingly, Fox News has thrown its full support behind Guiducci's idea, with MAGA hack host Brian Kilmeade even calling for the staffer who spoke to The Daily Mail to be rooted out and fired.
“You should be fired. If you’re at Vanity Fair right now, look for a mid-level editor who looks angry, and toss them out and send them to Trader Joe’s!" said Kilmeade.
It cannot be stressed enough just what a huge mistake it would be for Vanity Fair to surrender its cover to the wife of our would-be MAGA dictator. Yes, such a decision might draw in some new conservative buyers, but it would send far more consumers fleeing. Trump is deeply unpopular and by pandering to his supporters, the magazine will lose the rest of the country.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you will never buy Vanity Fair if they give Melania the cover!
BREAKING: Music legend Bruce Springsteen goes scorched earth on Donald Trump, calling him a "moron" and a "demagogue" who has brought about an "American tragedy."
And he wasn't done there. The Truth Social response to this one is going to be thermonuclear...
"I think that it was the combination of the deindustrialization of the country and then the incredible increase in wealth disparity that left so many people behind. It was ripe for a demagogue," Springsteen said in a new profile in The New York Times.
"While I can’t believe it was this moron that came along, he fit the bill for some people. But what we’ve been living through in the last 70 days is things that we all said, ‘This can’t happen here.’ ‘This will never happen in America.’ And here we are," he continued.
"It’s an American tragedy," Springsteen added.
That said, the singer says he's holding out hope for the future of America—
"Because we have a long democratic history. We don’t have an autocratic history as a nation," he said. "It’s fundamentally democratic, and I believe that at some point that’s going to rear its head and things will swing back. Let’s knock on wood."
Springsteen previously enraged MAGA world and drew the ire of Trump himself when he kicked off his "Land of Hopes and Dreams" tour with a brutal takedown of the president, calling him "corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous."
"In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration," Springsteen told a crowd in Manchester, England.
"Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!" he continued.
Later in the show, Springsteen hit his anti-Trump stride again—
"The last check on power after the checks and balances of government have failed are the people, you and me," he said. "It’s in the union of people around a common set of values now that’s all that stands between a democracy and authoritarianism. At the end of the day, all we’ve got is each other."
"There’s some very weird, strange, and dangerous sh*t going on out there right now. In America they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. This is happening now," he went on.
"In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death," he continued.
"In my country, they’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers. They’re rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society," Springsteen said.
"They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom," he said. "They are defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands. They are removing residents off American streets and without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons. This is all happening now."
"A majority of our elected representatives have failed to protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government," he continued. "They have no concern or idea for what it means to be deeply American."
"The America l’ve sung to you about for 50 years is real, and, regardless of its faults, is a great country with a great people," he said. "So we’ll survive this moment. Now, I have hope, because I believe in the truth of what the great American writer James Baldwin said. He said, 'In this world there isn’t as much humanity as one would like, but there’s enough.’ Let’s pray."
Trump was infuriated by Springsteen's words and launched several Truth Social attacks, calling him a "dried out 'prune' of a rocker" who "ought to keep his mouth shut."
He also threatened to launch a “major investigation” into the singer over his support of Kamala Harris and called him "highly overrated" and a "pushy, obnoxious JERK."
Clearly, Springsteen is not intimidated by this bully. None of us should be. Future generations are counting on us to to fight for our democracy.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Bruce Springsteen for speaking out!
