Had the back patio redone last week.
Four guys showed up at 8:15.
At 8:30 I went outside and asked if they had five minutes for a quick standup.
The foreman said "a what."
I said "a standup. Quick sync. Five minutes. What did you do yesterday. What are you doing today. Any blockers."
He said "we just got here."
I said "right so no blockers. Great. Let's reconvene at noon."
He looked at his crew. His crew looked at the ground.
At noon I went back outside. Asked for a status update.
He said "we're on track."
I said "on track relative to what baseline."
He said "the plan."
I said "is the plan documented somewhere."
He pointed at the patio.
Fair enough.
My wife came outside around 2 PM.
She said "have you been out here all day."
I said "I've been providing board-level oversight."
She said "you've been sitting in a lawn chair watching four men work."
I said "that's what board-level oversight is."
She went inside.
They finished Thursday. One day ahead of schedule.
The foreman shook my hand at the door and said "good working with you."
I said "likewise. I'll send over a post-mortem."
He said "please don't."

do you understand what just happened to Robinhood..
Someone sent a perfect phishing email - real domain, DKIM pass, SPF pass, DMARC pass and Robinhood's own servers delivered it.
Here's the chain:
→ Gmail treats john.doe@ and johndoe@ as the same inbox
→ Attacker registers a NEW Robinhood account using the dot trick of YOUR email
→ Sets the device name to raw HTML code
→ Robinhood's "unrecognized activity" email renders it unsanitized
The "Review Activity Now" button? Attacker's phishing site.
The email? 100% real.. Sent by Robinhood.. Signed by Robinhood..
Just because it passed every security check doesn't mean it's safe.
Today we're releasing Personal Computer.

🚨 do you understand what Matthew Gallagher just did..
two months.. $20,000.. him and his brother.. using ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok to vibe-code an entire company from scratch.. and Medvi is now on track for $1.8 billion in annual sales..
300 customers in month one.. 1,000 more in month two.. and it never stopped..
the healthcare industry told you it costs $12,000 per American per year because it's complicated.. because it requires infrastructure.. compliance teams.. hundreds of millions just to compete.. Hims has over 1,000 employees.. Ro had hundreds.. they both spent years and hundreds of millions trying to crack GLP-1 telehealth..
one man in an apartment looked at both of them.. opened Claude.. and outran them in two months..
at $1.8 billion in revenue with two employees, Medvi has a higher revenue per person than every major company on earth.. Nvidia, Apple, OpenAI.. none of them come close..
Sam Altman said AI would enable a one-person billion dollar company.. everyone thought he meant a SaaS tool or an app.. Matthew Gallagher did it in healthcare.. the most regulated, most lobbied, most protected industry in America..
the healthcare industry didn't charge you $12,000 a year because it was complicated..
it charged you $12,000 a year because nobody could compete..
until one guy opened an AI chatbox and changed the math forever.

🚨#BREAKING: Watch Former Marine Sgt. Brian McGuinness stood up in Congress to say that we don’t want to fight a war with Iran for Israel while being removed by the Capitol police
📌#Washington | #DC
Watch As Former Marine Sgt. Brian McGuinness stood up during a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing to voice opposition to a potential war with Iran, saying many Americans do not want the United States drawn into another conflict. Moments later, U.S. Capitol Police moved in and forcibly removed him from the chamber as the disruption unfolded. During the removal, McGuinness claims his arm was broken. Senator Tim Sheehy of Montana was also seen assisting as officers escorted the anti-war protester out of the hearing. McGuinness, an activist and Green Party candidate running for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, has been outspoken against the possibility of a broader conflict in the Middle East. The incident is now gaining significant attention online as veterans and anti-war activists react to the confrontation at the Capitol.
