@SgtDangerCow Improving the gunplay, ttk and footstep audio would solve alot of issues. They also need to re-balance some classes and how spotting works. I think once these issues are ironed out we could have a great Battlefield on our hands. But only time will tell tho just like 2042.

I went and watched this video in its full entirety.

He ultimately said that he’s not attracted to the weight gain as well as her habits that are leading to said gain (she doesn’t work or exercise) + he’s not attracted to the potential future picture (her not being around for her kids because future health problems taking her out the game of life).

He even suggests she go with him to the gym & she STILL deflected.

Arc does not teach you about the brutality of its game or its process, imo it’s just slower, but it does have a tutorial.

People are intimidated by Marathon being more cut throat and frustrating.

It was sold that way by design, and it’s why it didn’t sell a lot of units.

That’s why purchasers of the title have reviewed it positively and why the game’s player counts, although comparatively lower than arc, have stabilized - people bought a cut throat extraction game that THEY wanted.

Arc has more players because arc is considerably more casual friendly and considerably less frustrating.

Arc is “the extraction game for every man”. Marathon is not that and never was that, and @Ziegler_Dev has said 1000 times that this game would not be for everyone.

Dans un monde normal Marathon doit avoir plus de succès que Arc Raiders, le jeu a tellement plus de profondeur et une boucle de gameplay bien au dessus d'Arc. Sans parler de Cryo Archive qui est une masterclass de design pour un extract shooter.

à côté de ça, Arc Raiders une fois la découverte passée c'est plat, y'a pas grand chose à farmer et qui incite les joueurs à se la donner. Un gros manque de dopamine sur le loot et l'absence total d'un contenu End game.

L'emballage est sympa mais le reste ne suit pas.
