Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, God of grace and glory, You have called us to take hold of eternal life. Help us to run with resolution the race that lies before us, with our eyes fixed on Jesus. As we begin this new day, grant us a positive outlook on life. Teach us to imitate Jesus, your Son. Lord, grant us endurance, patience and humility and help us to also grow in obedience and respect. God, forgive us for those times we forget to proclaim our thanks and gratitude for all the amazing wonders around us. Your word urges us to show thanks in all situations. That’s not always easy when the situation is so hard. But we know that You are always there, and we are so thankful for that. As we go about our day may we contemplate, reflect and give thanks for the inspiration of Your Holy Spirit and the gift of salvation through Your son Jesus Chris, our precious Lord and Savior we pray, Amen 🙏✝️
Hebrews 13: 15
“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”
There is no greater need today than to support Israel with our daily prayers. Israel is under attack and is threatened with total annihilation. But we believe in the power of prayer!
“I pray for the poor and impoverished living in Israel; the Holocaust survivors, the refugees from different lands returning home to their land. May they bring with them a divine supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to all of Israel. Protect the families who are forced to live in bomb shelters from the deadly rockets of the enemy. Let them see Your hand of compassion and divine protection upon them so they may rejoice in Your faithfulness.”
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in Whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior—from violent men You save me. II Samuel 22:2-3

In Auschwitz, my mother taught me three rules.
Not stories. Not prayers. Rules. The kind that kept you alive.
Rule one: Never make eye contact with a guard.
Rule two: Never show that you are sick.
Rule three: Never, ever, lose your bowl.
I was five years old. I memorized them the way other children memorize nursery rhymes.
The bowl was a small tin thing. Dented. Scratched. It held whatever thin soup they gave us once a day. If you lost your bowl, you had no bowl. If you had no bowl, you had no ration. If you had no ration, you understand.
I guarded that bowl with everything I had. I slept with it. I held it against my chest during roll call. I knew where it was every second of every day.
Then one morning, I fell into the latrine.
There is no delicate way to say this. The latrines in Auschwitz were wooden boards with holes cut into them over a pit. The holes were large. I was very small. I was in a hurry. I slipped.
I went in up to my neck.
The smell. The cold. The rats. I do not need to describe it. Your mind already knows.
My mother tried to pull me out. She could not. I was slippery and she had no strength. None of us had strength. We had not eaten properly in months. She called out. Other women came. Together they pulled me free. Someone found a hose. They sprayed me down in the cold air while I stood there shaking.
I did not cry. Rule number one in Auschwitz was the same rule everywhere, do not attract attention.
But I got sick. Very sick. The kind of sick that comes from rats and filth and cold water and a body that has nothing left to fight with.
And I remembered Rule Two, never show that you are sick.
I hid it from everyone. From the guards. From the other children. Even from my mother, because I knew if she knew, she would do something. And doing something in Auschwitz got you killed.
But someone saw. I do not know who. I do not know why they helped me instead of reporting me. I never knew.
They took me to a room, a makeshift hospital. I lay in a bed, a real bed, not a wooden bunk, for the first time since we had arrived.
I do not remember much of what happened next. The fever blurred everything. Days passed like smoke.
When I came out, I still had my bowl.
I had held it even in the latrine. Even in the fever. Even in the dark when I did not know where I was or what day it was.
My mother looked at me when I came back. She looked at the bowl. She did not say anything. She just nodded, the way she nodded when something had gone the way it needed to go.
People ask me what survival looks like.
I tell them, sometimes it looks like a five year old girl climbing out of a latrine in a death camp, covered in filth, shaking with cold, still holding her tin bowl.
Because she knew that the bowl was the difference between eating and not eating. Between living and not.
Because her mother had told her. And she had listened.
I am Tova Friedman. I fell into a latrine in Auschwitz at five years old.
I came out still holding my bowl.
Tova.

@Canellelabelle Well said. Catherine, the Princess of Wales, has shown genuine, sustained commitment to early childhood development that stands out for its consistency and depth. ❤️👑👏 #PrincessofWales
Such a lovely honour🤩
Ahead of The Princess of Wales' trip to the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy, on the 13 and 14 May for a fact-finding trip focused on early childhood, the city’s Mayor Marco Massari announced that Catherine "will be presented with the “Primo Tricolore”, Reggio Emilia’s highest honour in recognition of her Early Years work"🔥👏🏾
The honour is all the more significant that the city of Reggio Emilia has become the international golden standard in their unique educational approaches with early childhood and it was in that iconic city of Reggio Emilia that the Italian flag was first created in 1797, long before the unification of Italy in 1861👌🏾
The historic city is renowned worldwide in the field of Early childhood as Its central insight is that children are not empty vessels: the idea is that children learn and express ideas and emotions through multiple forms, including words, movement, music, art, light and digital tools, rather than through a single channel of instruction.👌🏾
The philosophy has influenced early years education systems across Europe, North America and beyond, and is now considered one of the most significant contributions to contemporary pedagogy to have emerged from Italy.
Speaking in a council session, the proud mayor Marco Massari told the council: “We consider this visit truly prestigious because it highlights one of the experiences that make our city a model known and appreciated worldwide.
“We are convinced that the visit of a woman who uses her popularity as a vehicle for spreading educational approaches in harmony with the Reggio Approach is of great importance.”🔥😍
He is absolutely right. Already the name of the city of Reggio Emilia is in the news everywhere.
This is a salient example of how Princess Catherine effectively yields her massive popularity to promote others and highlight their work❤️
I am so chuffed to see her gets such recognition for her work. Indeed this is not an official visit to represent the King or the UK, but rather Catherine is traveling there in a private capacity as patron of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
This woman has invested over a decade in researching and learning about the field of early childhood, working with experts; funding scientists and social surveys and researches to finally be able to support her work and position. She then has presented it in front of government officials in the UK, top CEOs of fortune 500 companies in the UK and schools to impact change at all level in that benefit families overall and children especially❤️
This is commitment, this is true passion and dedication to a cause one believe in.
After years of being mocked and ridiculed for her interest and work in Early childhood, it is Catherine who has internationally become one of the leading voices in support of Early Childhood🔥
After years of belittling her as "lazy and workshy" simply for splitting her time being a dedicated wife, mother and royal, it is Catherine who is getting the highest honours in Italy not as a royal but for her work in Early Childhood🔥
Well and so, True confidence is indeed, very quiet, calm and understated. It is Insecurity that is loud and in need of external validation.
Catherine is a lady who walks and acts with quiet confidence and has never needed external validation. She is always measured, always listens more than she speaks and she never EVER clamor for attention; and that is exactly why she gets all that attention and recognition☕️

There is no greater need today than to support Israel with our daily prayers. Israel is under attack and is threatened with total annihilation. But we believe in the power of prayer!
“God of Power, I ask today that You strengthen the hands of those who defend Israel. Let the weakest among them be as mighty as Your servant David in battle. Let Your angels join the fight for the peace of Jerusalem and give victory over the forces of evil.”
In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. Zechariah 12:8

There is no greater need today than to support Israel with our daily prayers. I ask you to join me in prayer every day for Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
“Lord of Your people, I cry out to you for the sake of Israel. I pray that You would gather and strengthen Your Chosen People as You have sworn in Your Word. Defend them against their enemies and make Your truth shine in their hearts.”
The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. Psalm 147:2
