@AskFrontier what’s going on with the service outage in my area?? Any explanations or ETAs on fix?
Been sometime now…
North Texas area - Grapevine 76051 - Area codes 817, 682, 469, 972, 214, & 945
The in app confirmation it’s down is nice, but… we’re still waiting on more ⏱️
@wanderalchemist@OpenAI Export that huge thread into a document, then feed a new thread (or maybe even better yet, a new custom GPT) that document, instructing that it’s to study the previous conversation as it’s own baseline from here forward?
Won’t be identical, but should get you back on your feet
@wressell_matt @dmcnamee @CJD2K @CeliaBedelia You know the last time we had a truly healthy economy?? It was under CLINTON, who didn’t even have any debt, no deficit, gave Bush a country with EXTRA money in the bank
Your a total stooge, both for your party and your messiah 🤣
@_anaid_eriram_@grandson Sorry, not trying to be a douche or rag on you
I just woke up, and found it kinda funny given what I just pointed out, that you still managed to both take these screenshots shots AND retrieve for this
Im sure he appreciates you none the less, and glad you like his music though
@_anaid_eriram_@grandson This doesn’t say you made it remotely close to a top listener… all it says is you barely listen to music and he was YOUR top artist
This says 99.7% of everyone else who listened to him listened to him more than you 😂
Giving thanks to @SensesFail for all the music. This year I couldn't stop listening to End of the World/A Game of Chess. #SpotifyWrapped https://t.co/ZjF0YB6DLt
I wouldn’t say I particularly “trust” the government, just that I can at least recognize a simple attempt at an honest improvement/new service, and also that a national broadcast warning system is neither a new concept nor a bad idea to be honest
Also, I wasn’t necessarily saying Maui in specific is “the” reason, just that Maui serves as yet another perfect example, a situation where a system like this might have helped but just wasn’t ready or available yet
OPs comment made it out to sound as if Maui didn’t get a warning, then basically why should anyone else get a warning either in the future, ever… to which I simply say “WTF”, and “come on!” with an additional *smh*
Time doesn’t equate to achievement or skill. It’s often a necessary ingredient, but not the only one
Ever seen one of those keychains that says, “want to know how to keep an idiot busy for hours? Turnover to find out” and says the same thing on the other side?
Just think about how long that keychain has managed to occupy so many people’s attention
Even smart people often turn it at least twice
You can be fixated on or loyal to whatever you want, but carrying a fetish for 2 decades isn’t really reason enough on it’s own for convincing anyone else of credibility in your personal fan club
Nor is “NASA used it”
So, forgive those of us this alone has failed to convert
The internet is always listening though if you’ve got anything else
You’re totally off track
It was essentially more or less a metaphor. I was attempting to communicate a quick, simple, relatable, and understandable sentiment in order to convey the actual point (upon MANY points already inside one tweet), without having to write a novel to do it
Nice try though, hope you felt real smart and proud of yourself there for a few moments 🙄
Most states welcome growth of any kind from like minded people
The only problem is though, as you said, distant cousins… these particular individuals are not actually the same
Over time, most of them will come to regret their decision to abandon Oregon for Idaho, and worst for Idaho, over time that huge influx of original Oregonians will slowly tax/ burden/drain the Idahoan way of life, culturally, financially, legally
It’s a huge change like choosing to add a new ingredient to a recipe that completely alters the outcome
Right now Idaho is some kind of meat lovers pizza, and what they need to consider is if they’re okay with adding Pineapple to the mix and becoming a Hawaiian pizza instead
I didn’t move for the reasons they are, and I am an adult who has seen first hand EVERY major metropolitan/suburban area in this country, the people there, how they live/act. I used to travel for work non stop for years, driven overnight to a new city every day for years.
Just because I’m not stupid enough to recognize that everywhere has problems, be adult enough to acknowledge them, and actually do crazy things like attempt to solve problems, doesn’t mean I need to “go home”
I’m educated, well cultured, and prepared to live with the consequences of my decisions.
I’m saying that THESE people should not be following through on these choices.
Just because you’re feeling overburdened and like you can’t take any more of the problems/issues created by your home deep state, does not mean that becoming part of an opposite new deep state is going to solve your problems.
If anything, most of these people ought to be looking at purple states. The Oregonians would likely make for much happier Ohioans than Idahoans, while at the same time Californians who move to Texas for the sole reason it’s famously deep red, would probably be much happier Arizonans or New Mexicans than Texans.
I’ve only ever see a few documented examples of what’s to come might look like, and read about how it’s getting closer and closer, but still on the horizon
If they’ve actually finally done it, implemented an official spec, and there’s remotely even the faintest support for it in any of the current major browsers, I’d LOVE to get my hands on it and do some actual experimenting of my own with it
Do you possibly have any links or anything you could share that do a good job of going over it?
Would super appreciate any good reads!
Thanks for the update (and hopefully a few forthcoming links 😅)
