The poor masses, who have been neglected for four long years, suddenly become “important” for just one day. And then, after the elections, it’s back to silence.

Here’s the hard truth: vote buying thrives because poverty persists.

But how many are actually asking why people feel the need to sell their votes in the first place?

Every election cycle, we witness the same old routine. Politicians stroll around with cash in hand, agents lurk in the shadows, and money exchanges happen quietly.
