We are pleased to announce that two @KingstonMvs members were elected as Directors and Trustees of @MVSHQ at our national AGM2023. This truly puts our Unit at the heart of the organisation and we can play a part in influencing the future of MVS.
Today (Saturday 28 October 2023) members of the @MVSHQ and units across the country converge on London for our AGM.
@KingstonMvs members will be in attendance and get to catch up with their neighbouring unit on the River #Thames@MvsPutney
18 years ago today I walked onto RNLI Tower Lifeboat Station to start my first shift as a volunteer crew member.
What a journey!
Thank you to the RNLI and the team at Tower past and present for everything, you have changed my life and many others too.
We are proud to have worked with @LFBKingston on ensuring these throw lines are available along the busiest stretch of the River Thames. They are for your safety and the safety of others. If you see them damaged, please let @LFBKingston know.
We are regularly checking our throw bag boards which are now installed along #kingston riverside. The bags contain a floating rope that can be thrown to someone in distress in the river. If you need to use one, call 999 and ask for the fire service.
