As part of National MVS Day members of Putney Unit held a community event and then had a patrol of the river in one of our RIBs. Great to speak with the local community and explain what we do. Some potential new recruits as well.
@backborwick@RiverThames @MVSHQ @MvsPutney We were very pleased to receive this prestigious award alongside our partner units in Putney and Medway for our devices to well-being on the Thames.
@WBC_Help Hi. Do you have an email address that I can send you our info to see if we can be included on the Volunteering Opportunities area of your website? Thanks.
A productive day of boat handling training for some of our crew on two of our three boats. And a promotion for crew member Phil. We are looking for new members. Contact us at [email protected]
We were happy to help a barge that had run aground yesterday and also spotted a seal. An eventful afternoon. Good training for the crew and great teamwork.
It was a real pleasure to take Tony and his daughter Sally for a trip on the Thames on Saturday. Tony used to work for RAF Air Sea Rescue. And we were lucky enough to see Gloriana in the Tudor Pull.
Three MVS Putney crew members completed and passed the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course this weekend in Brighton. (One was camera shy). A great weekend of training. If you want to learn new skills we are recruiting. Get in touch [email protected]
