During the field monitoring mission for the ongoing Kiryandongo refugee response operation, William Kinobe, URCS Procurement Officer, provided updates on progress in the supply chain and procurement processes supporting the operation.

His briefing highlighted the importance of timely procurement, efficient supply chain management and accountability in the use of resources to ensure that essential assistance reaches communities when and where it is needed.

The Kiryandongo refugee response is supported through the IFRC Appeal, with procurement and supply chain processes playing an important role in translating available resources into timely humanitarian assistance.
