Well after almost 4.5 years of being off work. Lots of pain, 2 hip surgeries, lots, lots and lots of physio, lots of ortho surgeon appts, and a return to work plan later. Today is my official full day back to work. Back in Middleton once again.
Hard to believe 4 years ago I was getting triaged at the hospital while working. That was my basically my last shift on the ambulance. Well, 2 surgeries later and lots of physio. Looking closer and closer to returning to back to work.
24 hours ago my family released this video. Since then itβs been viewed over 130,000 times across social media. My son Justinβs voice & our familyβs message about #addiction is being heard. Thank you. π

Today, I express my deepest gratitude to the @EHS_NS paramedics who serve our communities with dedication, compassion, & unwavering commitment. As someone who once proudly wore the uniform, I have a profound understanding of the challenges & the importance of the work they do!
