Want to learn more about CentreBC?
Join CentreBC Leader @Mike_A_Bernier at Milestones at Park Royal in West Vancouver this Saturday, August 22, from 6:30–8:30 PM.
Come meet Mike, chat with party members, and learn more about BC’s best alternative to the current government.
This continues to be an issue right across BC. There are some solutions and I even gave those to the NDP but they didn't listen. For one, open up more training spaces dedicated to BC residents who will probably stay here rather than sending our people over seas to get schooling and then they never come back! @VoteCentreBC
With the BC Conservatives facing ongoing internal turmoil and the NDP asking Abbotsford-Mission voters to return to the status quo, Lakhwinder Jhaj represents a hopeful alternative: thoughtful leadership, respectful politics, and a focus on results.
Lakhwinder has deep roots in the riding, a strong record in business and community leadership, and a commitment to practical solutions that put local families first.
While this by-election has become a high-stakes test for the two other parties, Lakhwinder is focused on something more important: being a strong voice for Abbotsford-Mission.

The people of Abbotsford-Mission have a real choice now.
This weekend, CentreBC announced Lakhwinder Jhaj as our candidate in the September 26 by-election.
Lakhwinder has deep roots in the community and a strong record of standing up for the people of Abbotsford and Mission.
This by-election is about more than one riding, though.
It's an opportunity to show that British Columbians don't have to choose between the disastrous policies of the NDP and the growing dysfunction of the BC Conservatives.
There is a better path forward; one that is practical, people-focused, and centred on solutions.
But campaigns are powered by people, so if you've been waiting for a chance to help build something different in BC, this is it.
Whether you can volunteer your time, make a donation, or help spread the word, every contribution makes a difference.
Join us at CentreBC and help send our first MLA to Victoria!

Many MLAs could join @VoteCentreBC while we continue to attract disenfranchised voters and people just looking to get away from this chaotic political scene in BC. We can band together and beat the NDP and create much needed stability which means focusing on issues to help people.
A $1.5 BILLION budget error is not a minor accounting mistake.
David Eby’s NDP government significantly overstated natural gas royalty revenues — while already running record deficits and adding billions to BC’s debt.
British Columbians should be able to trust the numbers their government puts forward. When you’re managing a provincial budget worth tens of billions of dollars, being off by $1.5 billion demands more than a correction. It demands accountability.
BC needs responsible, competent financial management.
@VoteCentreBC believes taxpayers deserve better. @bcpoli https://t.co/4L6tiFqBQd
At CentreBC, we’re doing things right from the start.
We’re not rushing to announce policies because they might make a good headline. We’re building a process that puts evidence, expertise, consultation and real-world results ahead of ideology and political convenience.
That means listening to British Columbians. Seeking out the expertise we need. Understanding the challenges from every perspective. Testing ideas. Asking tough questions. And being willing to change course when the evidence tells us we should.
Because good policy isn’t created behind closed doors or dreamed up on a campaign trail.
It’s built carefully, collaboratively and transparently with the people who will actually be affected by it at the table.
We believe this is what B.C. needs if we’re serious about creating a better path forward.

The chaos inside the BC Conservative Party continues.
Bruce Banman, who helped build the BC Conservative movement, has now left the caucus, saying he is hearing from British Columbians that Kerry-Lynne Findlay is “unelectable.”
These aren't the words of a political opponent — they're coming from inside the Conservative movement itself.
BC doesn't need more infighting, defections or another new political party. We need to grow the tent, not keep dividing it.
@VoteCentreBC is already building a credible centre and centre-right alternative focused on what British Columbians actually care about.
Enough political chaos. Let's get back to work.
Politics should start with values not ideology.
At CentreBC, we believe British Columbia can do better when we put people ahead of political camps and focus on what actually matters.
CentreBC's values are the foundation for a different kind of politics, one built on pragmatism, respect, collaboration and a genuine commitment to building a better path forward for B.C.
Our Core Values:
🔹 Social Investment — strengthening the healthcare, education and supports people depend on.
🔹 Informed Leadership — making decisions based on evidence, expertise and results.
🔹 Economic Prosperity — creating opportunity, supporting business and building a strong, sustainable economy.
🔹 Respect & Collaboration — working across differences to find solutions that serve British Columbians.
🔹 Youth & Future — preparing the next generation for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
🔹 Vibrant Communities — building communities where people can live, work, raise families and thrive.
🔹 Meaningful Conversation — restoring civility to politics and creating space for thoughtful discussion, respectful debate and honest dialogue.
Because real progress doesn’t happen when everyone thinks the same.
It happens when parents, youth, workers, seniors, businesses, communities and people with different perspectives have a seat at the table and are willing to listen to one another.
These are the values that guide CentreBC.
Not left. Not right. Forward.
