@Prominent_Bryan Exactly. As a long time federal liberal, I refuse to compromise my values. I am here to support @elenoresturko as we create a home for @MarkJCarney@LPCBC voters in #bcpoli. And in #obgh, it looks like that option will prevail.
Honestly I’ve hit my breaking point. On call this week and just crushed. It’s insanity to do a specialist consult on a complex patient in 20 minutes. If I take longer then urgent care is delayed and the pile gets bigger.
Now Sechelt hospital has no physician capacity and patients are being sent over to me in the night. For the first time in 22 years of medical practice I said no. It felt terrible because the patient gets caught in the middle.
It’s unsafe. It’s hurting me. It’s hurting my family. It’s hurting patients. Leadership at the highest level in the VCH health authority need to lead. I have dedicated 22 years to Lions gate hospital. I’m seriously contemplating resigning.
Whoever forms the next government needs to make people in highly paid positions in administration accountable. Done with mediocrity. Politicians can’t fix the system but they can demand accountability from those they hire in to these roles.

In the private sector, executives face consequences for going over budget. Politicians go over budget with no accountability. CentreBC will change that - if Cabinet Ministers miss budget targets, they lose part of their pay. Responsibility for debt belongs to those who create it.
Thanks to Ryan and Lisa at CFAX 1070 for having me on yesterday!
As CentreBC’s candidate for Langford–Highlands, I’m working to earn your trust and bring a practical, community-focused voice to the Legislature.

Great morning at Organic Warehouse in Newton with CentreBC Leader Elenore Sturko and fellow candidates as we announced our plan to tackle the cost of living. (And yes, I had to get a picture with that wheat mill. Pretty cool machine!)
