I have an iPhone 12 mini (4 years old, traded in my iPhone 7 to get it when the mini came out). I want to limit my environmental impact and keep this phone if I can, but I’m worried tariffs will make it too expensive to upgrade in 2-3 years. Should I trade in and upgrade now?

@kraywhiseheart I don't know how valuable my input is, but I have been getting Mirena IUDs since I turned 18 (I'm on my 3rd one) and honestly had no problem just taking ibuprofen. I know it's something a lot of people have struggled with, but it's not guaranteed misery, at least.

It is 11pm and I am eating my first actual meal of the day, Taco Bell. I have been up since 4am working the polls in an extremely rural part of my county. I hope this is not the last election I ever get to work.

@LissaJoStewart @peculiarviolet Election laws are a mess, as I'm sure you know, but in my county we never turn anyone away. Everyone can cast a provisional ballot if they ask, even if we have no record of their registration or their address is out of county. (And then they get researched to see if they count.)

@KibayaInTrouble @clacey24 @go1dwng @WZG1889 In the US Election Day is not a holiday so it is not easy for all voters to get to the polls. Especially those is further, rural areas. I’m a poll worker and in one part of my county a helicopter is used to get voting equipment to one location because it’s otherwise inaccessible.
