@BallsyUncut If I have to choose between gas/food/hotels for my 3 kids Hockey/Baseball/Softball/Dance schedules, the Riders take a backseat. I imagine it is this way for many people in my age bracket.

@BallsyUncut Gas prices, hotel prices, food prices - money is tight. I pay enough money for cable and internet and can sit on my couch and watch the Riders from home, while saving money for the many other things that cost way too much these days.

@MiltStegallTSN @CFL Agreed. The rule changes have nothing to do with attendance in 2026. The ticket, gas, food, hotel prices have way more to do with attendance. And, it's just so easy to sit on your couch and watch the game on HDTV.

@treydaubert For two pillars of this franchise over the past decade+, the best thing that Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin can do is retire and go on permanent LTIR. This is a cruel business, but it is just business.

@DouglasEvan @samnestler They have absolutely not missed their window. This core is good. Great even. Injuries, luck of the draw, etc may have worked against them this year, but this league is hard to win in, and this team will continue to be competitive. Small tweaks will happen, and they’ll keep going
