@JuoPosts Normal timetable is Sundays hourly towards Salisbury from 09;12 to 17;12 with a couple of extensions (Yeovil Pen Mill & Gillingham). During the week the services depart ECS.
Gets more services when there is engineering works blocking the line between Basingstoke & Woking
159010 (plus 158882 at the front) at Reading earlier today, on the 15:12 service to Gillingham. Quite busy it was with customers avoiding the extended journey times going via Staines.
I've just uploaded a new blog post from a couple of trips at the start of the week, when it was rather Scorchio at times. Featuring the Macclesfield Canal & Ashby Canal with a spot of the Ashby - Nuneaton Joint Railway thrown in.

I've just uploaded a new blog post from trips at the end of last week & the weekend, featuring the Macclesfield & Huddersfield Narrow Canals, part of the former Woodhead railway route & Poole:

@CLondoner92 So by "Simpler Ticketing" means those cheaper "Thameslink only" fares getting the axe, replaced with more advance fares which will magically disappear on summer weekends when half of London decide to head to Brighton?
After 4 days off, it's back to work with a trip to Reading on day 1 of 6 late shifts. 159107 on platform 15 at Reading with the view of Southcote Junction from the back cab.
A couple photos from a walk from Mossley along the former Micklehurst Loop line towards Diggle, with a Manchester bound TPE 185 and the rear of a freight towards Huddersfield from I presume a newish footbridge replacing a foot crossing (near Uppermill Junction)
When did 195s start popping up on the Manchester Piccadilly - New Mills Central stoppers (rather than the more usual 150s?)
