Oh hey couple reminders:
1). Still around a million Epstein files not released
2) the US is currently negotiating terms for our surrender to Iran because Trump got bored and scared
Just keep in mind with all the pool drama
I'LL SAY IT AGAIN:
IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL to charge a "convenience fee" for paying a bill online. The convenience is for the company. The fee is for you.
The FBI wouldn't spend $100,000 to chase a lead in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping, per TMZ.
Kash Patel had plenty for himself — date nights with his girlfriend, golf in Scotland, a hunting lodge, all on a $60 million private jet funded by taxpayers.
What the administration is doing here investigating “The View” is so fucking wrong. Too many Americans look at headlines like this and yawn. This is the President of the United States attacking a free press, trying to silence speech. This is utterly un-American. It’s fascism.👇
Trump: "Who would think that somebody would go into a pool and take a knife and start cutting it?"
Reporter: "Do you have proof of that?"
Trump: "Yeah, we have proof…When you have a 350ft slit from one end to the other, you think that's proof?"
Reporter: "There's no evidence of it."
As a DC9 union painter with 30+ years in coatings, I’m looking at the failure not a conspiracy theory.
When a coating is lifting off in large sheets like this, that points to an adhesion failure: improper surface preparation, contamination left behind, the wrong coating system, poor recoat timing, or water introduced before the system fully cured.
A quality two-part epoxy system can perform well but the product is only as good as the prep and application. The substrate has to be properly profiled/cleaned, the specified primer or first coat applied correctly, recoat windows followed, and the full system allowed to cure before being put back into service.
That is not “vandals.” That is a coating failure that deserves a real independent inspection and an explanation of exactly what system was specified and how it was applied.

First the Reflecting Pool turned green with algae. Then the paint started peeling. Now it's headed for another round of repairs.
Another example of misplaced priorities when Americans are focused on the rising cost of everyday life.
The body of a dead baby duck floats in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool after recent renovations directed by Donald Trump resulted in an algae infestation, leading workers to pour hydrogen peroxide into the water. June 21, 2026. REUTERS/Aaron Schwartz.
Imagine being forced to give someone 6.2% of your paycheck, every single check, every month, for 30 to 50 years of your life.
And that person said, "Don't worry, I'm holding this for you and will pay it back to you on a monthly basis, when you retire at 65."
And then they said, "Nah, just kidding. I meant when you retire at 67. And at that time, I'll only give you 70% of what you paid me."
And then they said, "Oops, I spent all your money. You're out of luck."
That's the U.S. government.
Nobody is vandalizing the Reflecting Pool, and Trump knows it. This is a visible example of his corruption--a no-bid contract to some crony followed by sky-high cost overruns, and shoddy construction to boot. Classic Trump: I didn't fuck up, it was my enemies.
Step 1: Remove filters in Reflecting Pool because Obama put them in.
Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool.
Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms.
Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event
Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel.
Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration.
Step 6: Blame someone else.
Karl: You just said if it falls apart, we'll still see a decline in prices. But Trump is saying if we go back to a state of war with Iran, we face the risk of global depression. Is that not true?
Wright: The president, no, I don't—Well, look…
It sure would be a shame if we all reminded everyone that Howard Lutnick lied about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein by spreading this picture around again.
Two young men showed kindness without thinking twice—and it meant so much to us.
“We were in Athens yesterday, and my daughter Avery really had to go to the bathroom. We ran into the nearest place we could find, which happened to be a Subway restaurant in downtown Athens. We rushed straight to the bathroom, but the worker stopped us and said the bathroom was only for paying customers. I didn’t have my wallet with me, so I told him I was sorry and we’d just leave.
Right away, two young men spoke up and said they would buy a cookie for Avery so she could be a ‘paying customer’ and use the bathroom.”
“I was so thankful. I told them thank you over and over and took Avery to the restroom. When we came out, the guys were still there, so I thanked them again and started chatting with them. That’s when I found out they both play football for the University of Georgia. (Go Dawgs!) We had a great talk, shared a few laughs, and talked about the team.”
To some people, this might seem like a small thing. But to me, it was a big act of kindness. These two college guys—who don’t even have kids—stepped up and helped us without being asked. The world needs more of that kind of heart.
Thank you, Latavious and Jaylen! You’re fine young men, and you didn’t expect anything in return. You reminded me of something Andy Stanley once said in a sermon: “What does love require of you?” You both showed the answer.
You were a much-needed ray of sunshine. The world really does need more love, sweet love.
Go Dawgs!!
