Are you stupid? This scene the producer is talking about being the number one show on primetime and studio metrics and Chris Hansen berates her by saying there's a larger calling of expelling evil that supersedes ratings.

Get of your fucking phone and watch the god damn movie. This is a prime example of nuance because it shows that Hansen does believe in what he's doing and isn't entirely a cynical grifter
