Usha Vance just asked Trump if he has time to read.
Barack Obama: “Reading is the gateway skill that makes all other learning possible.”
Thomas Jefferson: “I cannot live without books.”
Donald Trump: “I usually read stories about myself”
I get that he violated the UCMJ. But why would CAPITOL POLICE arrest him? He was no threat to lawmakers, and they do NOT have jurisdiction to enforce UCMJ violations.
This is insane
Absolutely chilling words from Jack Smith:
“I think we are facing an attack on the rule of law that is different in kind and scope to anything I've seen in my lifetime".
Remember, this man saw firsthand how corrupt and crooked Trump was.
Eleanor Roosevelt and Admiral Chester W. Nimitz primarily crossed paths during World War II, most notably during the First Lady’s daring, secret 25,000-mile tour of the Pacific Theater in August and September of 1943. Admiral Nimitz, serving as the Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific Fleet (CINCPAC), hosted and coordinated parts of her historic morale-boosting visit. Nimitz didn't want her out there at 1st... until he saw the effect she had on boostong morale. She visited every single patient in every hospital on the tour. ...Every single patient.
Eleanor Roosevelt, Abigail Adams, Dolly Madison, Rosalynn Carter and so many others worked tirelessly to do great things for people while Melania shows up once a month and badly reads a speech someone wrote for her before returning to pampered luxury.
As a critical care nurse, looking at Senator Mitch McConnell’s situation through an ICU lens tells a very different story from the public updates.
Following the release of emergency audio detailing an unconscious person and active CPR for cardiac arrest at his residence on June 14, his staff issued a statement claiming he continues to improve and is working closely with his office. 🙄
However, anyone with extensive bedside experience knows that for an 84-year-old frail patient who has sustained an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest requiring full resuscitation, the idea that he is actively participating in daily Senate business is highly unlikely.
The brutal physical trauma of chest compressions combined with the high risk of acute neurological insult makes a return to a high-functioning baseline virtually impossible for someone with his preexisting vulnerabilities.
From my clinical perspective, the statistical chances of a full recovery are slim to none, serving as a stark reminder that political status cannot override physiological limits.
Who agrees that his constituents and the rest of America deserves the truth? 🤔

If a nurse gives a Senator $50 to vote for Medicare for All, it's illegal.
But Larry Ellison, worth $202 billion, spent $45 million to get Trump elected. So Trump is helping his family control:
CBS
CNN
TikTok
HBO
TNT
MTV
BET
And more
That’s a corrupt campaign finance system.
🇺🇸 Donald Trump is going to lift the ban on mailing handguns directly to homes. That helps GrabAGun, the online gun store his son has a stake in. He’d rake in billions.
In any functioning democracy, this would be called massive corruption and He would have faced at least 2 years in jail.
“I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone.
Every day, older patients call us confused.
They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link.
Some of them do not know what a portal is.
Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.
He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.
He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.
But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.
Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.
Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.

Rose garden, colonnade, oval office, East wing, reflecting pool… and now the cherry blossoms? This guy is single-handedly destroying Washington history and the Republicans just keep allowing it. Aren’t they supposed to be conservative??
Conserve something.
In a world with so much division, anger and bad news please enjoy this lovely scene.
