It’s shocking about how quickly people’s response to “I’m from Minneapolis” turned from “Must be cold” to “Oh, the place where the cops keep killing people.”
But it’s not that we have more police violence— it’s that people decided to stop allowing it to be done in silence.
1/2 Please stop saying. "This is not America" when another unarmed Black man or Black boy is killed by the police.
Please stop saying "This is not who we are" when there's another school shooting.

I just want to know what the government does with all the money they take from us via taxes / etc because we’re one year into a pandemic and there’s also been a race war, an insurrection and now wild weather and it doesn’t seem like they are prepared for ANY of it.
