AND everyone talks about problems, discuss opinions openly, giving a safe space for people to open up and discuss. No pressuring. Anything about mental wellbeing is opened up and traumas are discuss and spaces are held within the team. I find this SO refreshing.

I want to reflect upon working with a team of Gen Z / Millennials: I feel so comfortable as I don't need to "fit into the social norm". Significantly less judgy - you can stim, fidget, walk around, stretch, make random noises, have fun - all what matters is we get the job done.🔥

And the team accomodates - if you are neurodivergent: if moving about helps you concentrate, then move about; if you need a break at any moment, go take one for your wellbeing. If you need to quit a call at any moment, no questions are asked. People respect and don't pry 🫶

@RadekCdydd @meganniathomas Yes, but I am speaking for a culture with double names. Southeast Asians and East Asians who have lived all their lives with double names. It is sad to see our double names being eradicated into a single "one" name.

If I don't put a hyphen to my name, please don't put a hyphen to my name. You cannot decide how my name should be - this is name colonialisation all over again 😅

My name is Jia Wei, a typical East Asian DOUBLE first name. Please don't hyphen it into Jia-Wei to make it easier.

Yes, some East Asians are fine with a "hyphen" but be aware that this does not exist traditionally - it has only existed to "fit into" western culture's mono first name approach.

Please do not eradicate our double first names and diminish our cultural heritage for your sake.
