Trams are a great example of taking something from the past to solve some of today's challenges. Share your views until the end of October. https://t.co/DUSfSPPhA9
New fossil fuel projects are thought to be on shakier legal ground after this landmark supreme court decision. The judgment found the climate impact of burning coal, oil and gas must be taken into account when deciding whether to approve projects. https://t.co/P7TKE80Spl
So proud of the impact @clairecampaign is having. Women are finding connection and voice despite their terrible experiences. Ceri and Jess are sharing their stories so other women survive ❤️
Always good to bump into the inspiring @KateRaworth. I’m chuffed that Kate has agreed to be the keynote speaker at our inaugural Well-being economy conference in Swansea in November. Watch this space for more info soon. @Cwmpas_Coop@WECymru
Great to have been working with amazing changemakers from across Ireland @IrishDEN in the same week as @derekwalker_ the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales - there's lots of long-term and doughnutty thinking and action bubbling up... can't wait to come back!
I’m thinking of no longer using X for the obvious reasons. For those of you who already use an alternative platform or have looked into it, what one would you recommend? Bluesky? Mastodon?
In October I’m running the Cardiff Half marathon to raise money for Oasis. This year it feels more important than ever to support this excellent charity. I’d welcome any donation you are able to make. Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/eI39YEzzWG
I promised to share the work of Matthew Thomas, a student of @ColegyCymoedd , that was on display at the @eisteddfod. The work merges the worlds of cinematic superheroes & environmental activism. It’s inspired by Marvel & Wales’ Well being of Future Generations Act. Da iawn Matt!
Over the 12-year period to 2022, @PublicHealthW reported an increase of almost 60,000 people with diabetes - a 40% rise. “If current trends continue,” PHW warned recently, “by 2035/36 we estimate that around 1 in 11 adults will be living with diabetes in Wales.”
This article is difficult to read. It shows the devastating and growing impact of diabetes type 2 in Wales. There is an urgent need for a Welsh food strategy, for more focus on prevention and for an ambitious programme of actions to help people eat well. https://t.co/yyEYPNIOcE
