@tamara_nikolai I was just thinking this the other day! As a kid I pronounced ‘epitome’ in my head like it rhymed with Rome. I still have to say to myself sometimes in my head to say it the right way when I read it!
Visited the library with my son’s class today and when browsing Foreign Soil by @slamup was staring back at me (which I’ve been meaning to read). Looking forward to starting it 😊
Please go gentle into that good night
In our hearts we’ll hold your shining light
Feel the warmth of our words and love upon your back
Go gentle, go peacefully and don’t look back xx
Please Go Gentle
Please go gentle into that good night
Don’t rage against the dying of the light
Float across to the eternal hue
Those left behind shall speak your truth

@slamup I think I sing too much in my house, especially when I need the kids to do chores, cheer up or stop fighting. My 4 year old thinks singing in conversation is normal. 😆 I love it. Glad to hear everyone in your house sings. That’s awesome.
@JackDeanna I’m a qualified teacher but took a year off to start my own copywriting business to support my fictional writing. I love all the writing but definitely doing more copywriting over fiction so far. If I earn as much as teaching it’s unlikely I’ll go back to education.
A friend asked me today how my memoir rewrite was going, which was so nice. Sad that my answer was, not anywhere at the moment. Need to sort out my life. #needtoberewriting#author#writer#mumlife at odds with #writerslife
