@eurorealist I love the way you people claim that the import of millions of Bombalians was a result of Brexit rather than a decision made by successive treasonous British governments over 30 years against the wishes of the British people.
Quite some mental gymnastics
Wrong.
Before you and your brexiters lose your shit over today's news - you need to know this:
Britain could control free movement easily. EU countries require even other EU citizens to register locally, conduct police residence checks on them and can deport those without employment, genuine job prospects or sufficient money. Britain had exactly those powers but chose not to use them.
I know because I urged Teresa May to enforce the law when she was Home Secretary.
Know what she said?
"It's just not British".
Now Brexit Britain imports millions of non-European workers of which 52% are their families.
They're not going back.
Which the Europeans did.
After Brexit.
That's not what your people voted for, is it?
Kiev, autumn 2013. Thousands of students take to the streets, supposedly united by one goal: Ukraine’s integration with the European Union.
That’s the story Western audiences have heard for years.
But this footage offers a rather different perspective. Some of the young protesters say they came to have fun, get free food, and make some money.
Some even claim to have started out supporting President Yanukovych before switching sides. Why? Because the other side paid well.
And why bother studying or working when you can earn several hundred hryvnias a day just hanging out with your homies?
