@scottcowley 2. I think ads that attempted to paint a picture of the individual were the least effective. Often, one ad would celebrate the person & the good they do, and immediately after an ad showed all the terrible things! They simply cancelled each other out. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@scottcowley I think the best ads emphasize policies, but those are very rarely displayed. Leading up to the election I was simply annoyed & ready for it to be over. Pretty little opinion evolution for me, although I did have a higher threshold for ads earlier on. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@Capitaldemarca@PooPourri 2. The public interest ad campaign in Turkey, "It's Your Choice," had a very simple statement about masking up for COVID-19. It showed masks with images of people, likely intended to be your family. Applied broadly and a novel incorporation of the common good. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@Capitaldemarca 1. @PooPourri has a great ad campaign for their “Before-You-Go” Toilet Sprays. They're original & entertaining- approaching an unconventional topic with humor. The quality and consistency in all of their advertising created a specific aesthetic for their product. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@NiehausJordan@Capitaldemarca@coke Such a simple, consistent and engaging ad. Coke did an excellent job involving people - using titles (such as coworker, teacher, etc.) in addition to names. Virtually anyone and everyone could have a Coke shared with them! :) #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@PatrickPyett@AlexaKaye3 Yes! I’m searching for an apartment, but have had to quarantine due to exposure to Covid-19, so my apartment hunt been on pause! More augmented reality options for “tours” and living space dimensions could be extremely useful, especially during this pandemic. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
2. Clothing companies like Unique Vintage, who appears to have a steady customer base through their “Dress of the Month Club” and other promos, might benefit from this because their primary consumers are likely to be Instagram users. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
1. I wonder about the ability to purchase products within social media apps, such as Instagram. This would give companies another spot for consumers to access their products, and equally making items easier for consumers to find. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
We pray that the unenthralled corners of our heart would be conquered, because halfheartedness in matters of ultimate concern is futile.
@ColeJeffries17@Capitaldemarca@espn So true! They’re whole business is essentially around telling the stories of either the games (happening live or previously) and players on their highlight reels. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
2. One of my favorite advertisements is by @ExtraGum. Their ads have featured short love stories and it’s just so heartfelt. They do an excellent job telling the story of those people and it creates a connection in my heart & mind to Extra as a brand and company. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
1. Cliche, but Hallmark! Some of them are too cheesy, but the predictability, light-heartedness, and simple storylines make their movies fun to watch during the holidays. They are distinct enough to watch, but have overall cohesion in the themes. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@_hannahhartman_ @Capitaldemarca Neat! Plato’s Closet in MI does something similar- they are very involved in social media and their employees (local ladies) show off their clothes! I think that’s especially helpful for Plato’s: a consignment shop with items constantly filtering in and out. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
2.I wonder if the lack of accessibility for link sharing will harm Instagram. I’m sure there’s a reason for the limitations, but that may be something they can make more accessible to stay relevant, especially to companies using their platform. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
1. @Spikeball does an excellent job marketing on Instagram. They post lots of videos from people who play, many of which are funny. They keep their followers engaged. They are also great with responding to inquiries. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
For example, my fiancé sent a highlight video using an “off-brand” net, and they ended up sending him a Spikeball Pro Kit for free. They value their customers and want them to have a good experience with their company. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
@JustinBurlinga3@CopywriterBob That’s amazing. Very neat to have a brand like Hilton investing in the lives of people in need. This may sound funny, but I wonder if the soap has been hit with any cultural backlash - just thinking of “Mother Clean” by Dwight Conquergood among the Hmong peoples. #ICMKTG#WMU2500
