Here we go. Crossed the border from Algeria to Tunisia last night marking the 16th and final country of the mission. Final push🫡
5 DAYS TO GO.
The last 347 days running through africa have no doubt been the toughest of my life, but such an immense honour.
We have met incredible people in every single country we've been to that have welcomed us with love & kindness. The human spirit is a beautiful thing.
Very grateful for these experiences and would definitely encourage anyone out there to go get after that adventure, whatever it looks like for you.
Thank you to the people of Africa for being such an amazing part of this journey🫡

Gaining some big momentum in the last couple days. £20k in the last 12 hours. Massive thank you to everyone who has donated big or small.
The money raised is going directly to @Running_Charity & @sandblastarts who I will continue to work with long after the run is finished in 9 days time. These donations will make a MASSIVE difference to these charities and I’m excited to share with you all the impact your donations have over the coming years.
@davidwalliams@audibleuk Reading this with our son at the moment. It’s his second favourite book of yours, after Code Name Bananas. Will look for this version!
@poornabell Oh and Tapas N Friends, it might be a small chain, I think there’s one in Lisbon too. But it does exactly what it says “great tapas to enjoy with friends”, really well priced, great local wine. We sat outside and watched a band play on our first night, enjoyed it a lot.
@poornabell Elemento - amazing restaurant, Michelin starred but not fussy, pretentious or ludicrously expensive - I Went in June and it was great! We also liked Cumplice Steakhouse for something fun, easy but still great food.
