From dunking and scoring 105 points in a single high school game to becoming a three-time Naismith Player of the Year and two-time NCAA champ, there wasn’t much she couldn’t do! It speaks volumes that she is in the Naismith Hall of Fame, Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and now California Hall of Fame without playing a single game as a professional!

Cheryl is a pioneer of women’s basketball and women’s history! Her playing career was cut short, but her impact lives on and has contributed to the ongoing advancement of women’s basketball. Thank you for daring to be different and continuing to shine your light through coaching, broadcasting, and always advocating for the growth of the game. 💐
