यह खबर बेहद दुखद और चिंताजनक है कि सलीम वासतिक पर जानलेवा हमला किया गया है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार कुछ लोगों के एक समूह ने उन पर कई बार चाकू से वार किया, जिसके बाद उन्हें तुरंत दिल्ली के जीटीबी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहाँ उनका इलाज चल रहा है।

हम किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा की कड़ी निंदा करते हैं। विचारों का जवाब विचारों से दिया जाना चाहिए, न कि हथियारों से। किसी भी मतभेद या असहमति का समाधान लोकतांत्रिक और शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से होना चाहिए।
