Wernicke's Area.

1. Global Aphasia (الأفازيا الشاملة):
(Broca + Wernicke).
Fluency/
Comprehension/
Repetition/
Naming/

2. Broca's Aphasia (أفازيا بروكا):
Repetition/
Naming/

3. Wernicke's Aphasia (أفازيا فيرنيك):
Repetition/
Naming/

4. Conduction Aphasia (أفازيا التوصيل):
Wernicke's.
Fluency/
Comprehension/
Naming/

5. Transcortical Motor Aphasia (الأفازيا الحركية عبر القشرية):
Fluency/
Comprehension/
Repetition/
Naming/

6. Transcortical Sensory Aphasia (الأفازيا الحسية عبر القشرية):
Fluency/
Comprehension/
Repetition/
Naming/

7. Anomic Aphasia (الأفازيا الاسمية):
Fluency/
Comprehension/
Repetition/
Naming/

Transcortical Motor.
Transcortical Sensory.
Conduction.
Anomic.

A. Broca's Aphasia
B. Wernicke's Aphasia
C. Conduction Aphasia
D. Anomic Aphasia

Can you answer our FREE Question of the Day?

A 22-year-old male is brought to the emergency department following a motorcycle crash. He presents with the injury seen in Figure A. On initial examination the patient demonstrates full motor and sensory function distally; however, the hand appears paler compared to the contralateral extremity and pulses are neither palpable nor detectable with Doppler. A CTA of the affected extremity demonstrates a brachial artery injury, and the patient undergoes surgical intervention for his vascular injury as well as external fixation of the fracture. During the application of the external fixator, which of the following is true?

1. The safe zone for percutaneous distal pin insertion is the 90-degree arc between the olecranon fossa and the lateral epicondyle

2. Distal pins may be placed percutaneously in the anterolateral aspect of the distal humerus

3. There is no safe zone and distal pins should be placed through a mini-open approach

4. Percutaneous distal pins should be placed in a direct posterior fashion

5. The safe zone for percutaneous distal pin insertion is the 90-degree arc between the lateral epicondyle and the anterior surface of the distal humerus
