@ToastSlightly The high taxes like this were often causes of revolution and alike problems. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

@jeanaelle I don't understand why the French and British got involved in this problem other than to take control of the civilization its self. #h1170

@CNMamericaalvar The systems that were used by these people to maintain honor and what not were very backwards. To have to be with more women to increase you masculinity while being faithful is hypocrisy. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

@CNMamericaalvar The honor system seems like it was based on what the elite believed. Even so the ,lower class was able to maintain their own honor system. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

An interesting idea about a mans masculinity was it was based on the amount of women the could "conquer" but at the same time there were expected to remain faithful. #h1170

During Spanish rebellions the government often increase the tax or made certain rules more harsh which were the very cause of the revolution. This only escalated the situation. #h1170

An increase in tax can often have a negative effect and can be destroy a civilization or cause a revolution. Tax increase the anger that the citizens have towards their government and can cause riots which warrant a violent response. #h1170

To gain independence those trying had to consider many factors and this is referenced in the text book. The most important was stated as external and international events. #h1170

Change in the control capabilities of parents was evident especially when it came to the way their children dressed. This mostly pertained to courtship and marriages. #h1170

@ToastSlightly Those that had more wealth were seen as higher because of their monetary achievements. They had no problem keeping honor because of their influence and money. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

@HumelsineLora On the other side those who had political influence and wealth were seen as honorable and were able to maintain it much easier. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

@jeanaelle Its interesting that the church would try to help those who sinned in this way. I thought they would have been exposed for punishment. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

@jeanaelle This was and easy decision because the women were seen as honor less and no longer human. #h1170

[KOBY KWIECINSKI @KobyKwiecinski]

@Maria51040424 I find it surprising that children would be abandoned based on preserving honor. With it being such and important aspect of their society it makes sense. #h1170
