No public inbound address means no spam.
Fixed 2 hour schedule means no-one can expect a reply in 15 minutes.
No private messages means you can't be accidentally booted from the email thread.

@BrandonisRemote @TheRemoteNomad @GautamM235 I would say Slack is good for small agile teams of 5-10 people. 50, 100, 100,000!! people in a larger company don't do well in instant Slack channels.

@tsellhorn @BrandonisRemote The problem is Slack doesn't tell you when the bursts are. You are constantly checking whether that last notification is a burst of important conversation, or just some regular business noise.
