@BM_Visser Te kort door de bocht denk ik. Dat de opbrengst per kWh lager is (voor nu), hoeft niet te komen door ‘kannibalisatie’. Het kan net zo goed veroorzaakt worden door:
- Minder wind- en/of zonnefluctuaties.
- Betere voorspellingen door marktpartijen.
- Seizoens-effecten.

So even though 50 oil and gas companies signed a “net zero by 2050” pledge today at COP28, that’s not in the good news category. Why not? Because it doesn’t include emissions from actually burning the fossil fuels they produce: just the emissions generated during their production (which is only around 10% of the emissions associated with the industry).
