In Pretoria, I met with President @CyrilRamaphosa. We reaffirmed our commitment to multilateralism, the need for the United Nations to change, and the indispensable role and voice of the Global South in making it more representative, more responsive and better equipped to address the challenges of our time. We also exchanged views on the importance of a strong partnership between the United Nations and the African Union across peace and security, development and human rights. #newUN
A DA councillor has been caught playing online games during working hours in the Council Chamber, while a meeting was going on
This is the pathetic behaviour of DA politicians. They dont take local governance seriously. They dont take communities seriously
Disgusting!
@ChilizaGug94722@manyheavenn "Central figure in allowing Gupta brothers to capture key state-owned enterprises & government departments to advance their business interests, evidence proved he directly pushed for the capture of power utility Eskom & attempted to manipulate National Treasury" Zondo Commission-
@Derek_Hanekom Derek u are wasting your precious time,it sounds like she faced a tough defeat in 2017,losing a high-stake ANC conference election to a rival can always be challenging and disappointing, she must not make herself an exception, she must willfully accept & process her defeat.
You wish. Zondo's report made recommendations that are still being implemented albeit at an annoying pace.
We have people on bail based on Zondo's report like Brian Molefe. Lastly, Zondo did not have the same powers or terms of reference as Madlanga.
Through Zondo Commission around R16 billion has been recovered from some thieves.
There is no President Zuma. That fellow is a firepool supervisor, Nkandla thief and a wolf who preys on daughters of his comrades, a sex pest of note. On comparing the Zondo and Madlanga commissions, read this opinion piece by yours truly and gets empowered. I hope it will rescue you from being a zombie
Keep convincing yourselves that ,if it makes you guys feel better .South Africa’s economic growth declined substantially during Jacob Zuma’s presidency (2009–2018) compared with the stronger growth years under Thabo Mbeki.
You guys are quick to forget the main failures attributed to Zuma’s presidency.
1. State capture and corruption.
2. Weakening of government institutions.
3. Declining economic growth.
4. Rising unemployment.
5. Eskom crisis and load shedding.
6. Collapse of several state-owned companies.
7. Nkandla constitutional dispute.
8. Investor confidence decline.
9. Cabinet instability.
10. Poor governance and accountability.
By 2018, Stats SA reported that the economy had entered its second recession since the early 1990s, with annual growth of only 0.8%.
ANC NEC member Ronald Lamola has demanded that Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma retract her allegations of vote-buying against him or face legal action. The dispute follows Dlamini-Zuma’s claims that money influenced leadership outcomes at past ANC national conferences.
@MbalulaFikile On the establishment of the madlanga commission President Ramaphosa did well, results speak for itself , we all are admiring the quality of professionalism displayed by the commissioners
There were times when I believed we had a strong leader in her despite the Sarafina 2 scandal. However, it has become painfully obvious that we are stuck with a bitter septuagenarian who once complicated our immigration system and was determined to mess our country. Now she is resentful about missing out on being our president.
@newslivesa I hate it when senior politicians with years in politics uses silly & deliberate excuses to advance their misconceptions & faulsehoods in advancing their beliefs, Julius gets fascinated by throwing racist card on white people he perceive as opponents & its wrong he knows this ...
@SABCNews Mr Seepe has known and defended Zuma's actons for the longest time, it came as a big surprise yesterday when i heared him changed tune, most of us caĺl out his blunders as a leader on many occasions ....
